Novonesis' TagTeam® - Canada is an inoculant that combines a phosphate-solubilizing microbe with nitrogen-fixing rhizobia that work together to improve your crops’ phosphate availability and nitrogen fixation. 

This product is distributed in Canada by our partner Nexus BioAg. 

TagTeam® - Canada (Peat) is suitable for: 

  • Chickpeas
  • Soybeans 

TagTeam® is based on the naturally occurring fungus penicillium bilaiae and specially selected rhizobia. In a beneficial relationship with the plant, the rhizobia form nodules that help fix atmospheric nitrogen. Significant amounts of phosphate fertilizer become bound to soil particles and other elements. That means they go unused. Penicillium bilaiae grows along plant roots, releasing bound mineral forms of soil and fertilizer phosphate and making it more readily available for the plant to use.

    This product helps to free phosphate bound in soil and fertilizer, making it more available to the plant. Phosphate plays an important role in crop development and root growth.

    This product can help to reduce the impact of stress on your crops during the growing season. It does this by making nutrients more available to the plants, which improves overall crop health.

Chickpea:

Active ingredients: 6.9 x 105 cfu/g Penicillium bilaiae 6.9 x 108 viable cfu/g Mesorhizobium ciceri INERT: Peat powder and water
Application rate: 2.2 kg treats 3,000 lb of seed.

 

Soybean:

Active ingredients: 8.0 x 105 c fu/g Penicillium bilaiae 8.0 x 108 viable cfu/g Bradyrhizobium japonicum INERT: Peat granules and water.
Application rate: 2.45 kg/2000 lb of seed.

This product contains microbials. While microbial products are safe to use in consumer applications, they must be handled correctly in production environments to ensure that workers do not inhale organic dust and bioaerosols.

Please follow the precautionary handling recommendations below:

  • Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray
  • Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing
  • In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection
  • IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing
  • Store in a dry place. Store in a closed container
  • Dispose of contents/containers in accordance with local regulations
