About Mette Frederiksen, Head of Applied Research, Food & Beverages
Mette Frederiksen is Head of Applied Research for Food & Beverages at Novonesis, where she leads global Applied R&D and drives innovation from idea to commercial impact including the digital transformation across FBB.
With more than 19 years of experience, she has held multiple leadership roles at Novozymes across strategic innovation portfolio management, application research, and business development, building deep expertise in translating science into scalable solutions. Mette leads a global R&D team and plays a central role in advancing innovation strategy and digital transformation.
She holds an M.Sc. in Food Science & Technology from the University of Copenhagen, is the author of several peer-review scientific publications as well as inventor of multiple patents. Follow Mette.
