Novonesis Sustine® 120 IM is a 1,3 immobilized lipase that offers recyclability and works well with stereoselective hydrolysis and desymmetrization of esters.
Sustine® 120 IM can be applied in the manufacturing of commercial active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), such as: 

  • Pregabalin

As well as intermediates/transformations for:

  • Metronidazole, nimorazole and benznidazole (by Michael addition) 
  • Sugar-containing coumarins, such as warfarin, armillarisin and novobiocin
  • Nucleoside analogues of uridine, such as azidothymidine, doxifluridine and telbivudine

FAQ

Sustine® 120 IM works well in neat liquid substrates and aqueous mediums, as well as in a wide range of organic solvents.

Optimal test results, including maximum number of recycles, are observed at 50–75°C. However, the temperature range for product activity spans from 20°C to 80°C.

The product is well-suited for both.
