Welcome to our new Dairy Application Technology Center (ATC) in Denmark. This cutting-edge facility empowers dairy producers globally by accelerating innovation and delivering tailored solutions that address modern industry challenges.
May 15, we inaugurated our new 900m² Dairy Application Technology Center in Hørsholm, Denmark. The facility functions like a real dairy production plant, allowing for co-creation with our partners across the entire production process – from developing new products to scaling up for commercial launches.
With increased capacity and advanced technology, the ATC also opens up new opportunities for producers, whether looking to explore yield and recipe optimization, better cheese functionality, or improve whey quality – and beyond. The ATC elevates capabilities across the board, so producers get more support for developing healthy and nutritious dairy that people love.
Faster innovation, bigger impact
The new Dairy ATC has significantly expanded capacity, which means faster and more effective innovation. With more space and advanced equipment, like additional cheese vats and yogurt fermenters, we can support our customers by conducting more and highly precise trials, and in less time. Built with flexibility in mind, the Dairy ATC can mimic numerous recipes and different types of fresh dairy products and cheeses, helping dairy producers test our biosolutions and bring their new products to the market more quickly.
The facility is also equipped to address emerging trends, such as the growing demand for high-protein dairy products by including a new high-protein yogurt line.
Beyond creating innovative products, the co-creation capabilities of the Dairy ATC will help our partners achieve cost efficiency, productivity gains, and to get the most from their inputs. Cheesemakers, for example, can use the facility to test how biosolutions enhance taste, texture, shelf life, and yield – all while optimizing their processes to create higher impact together.
