Desize does matter
Removing starch-based sizing – or desizing - requires care so fibers are not damaged. Our starch-degrading enzymes remove the coating without damaging the yarn – giving improved fabric quality, and less chemical and water consumption.
Aquazym® products contain starch-degrading enzymes that remove starch-based size without negatively impacting dyeing. They can remove the coating without damaging the yarn – because they only target the starch, they don't impact fabric strength.
