Novonesis' eXact® XPL mesophilic culture range enables you to produce fermented milk products such as buttermilk, kefir, sour cream and quark with high texture and fast acidification. It also includes options with and without gas production.

Achieve higher texture and optimized yield with Novonesis' eXact® XPL compared to standard mesophilic cultures due to low proteolytic activity. This results in less protein loss in the whey.
- Faster acidification
Reduce acidification time and and unlock better utilization of production capacity compared to standard mesophilic cultures.
- Adjustable gas production and flavor
The range includes culture options with and without gas production, as well as mild to medium flavor intensities, depending on your target product profile.
This product contains microbials. While microbial products are safe to use in consumer applications, they must be handled correctly in production environments to ensure that workers do not inhale organic dust and bioaerosols.
Please follow the precautionary handling recommendations below:
- Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray
- Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing
- In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection
- IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing
- Store in a dry place. Store in a closed container
- Dispose of contents/containers in accordance with local regulations
